Windows 11 AI Agent Makes Finding Settings Effortless

The Orbital10 Team • 31 October 2025

Have you ever found yourself endlessly clicking through menus in Windows 11 just to tweak one simple setting? It’s frustrating - and it wastes time.

Microsoft is changing that with an AI Agent built directly into the Settings app.

Unlike a separate chatbot, this AI lives right inside the Settings search box. You don’t need to know the exact name of a setting - just type something like “increase screen brightness” or “enable voice control,” and the AI finds it for you, or even applies the change automatically.

What’s impressive is that this all happens locally on your device. Your requests aren’t sent to the cloud, so your data stays private. The AI runs on a fast, lightweight model tuned to focus on the settings people use most, giving you instant, relevant results without endless scrolling.

This may seem like a small tweak, but the impact on productivity can be huge. Employees no longer have to wait for IT support or search online tutorials—they can get answers in seconds, reducing downtime and frustration.

Currently, this feature is being tested on Copilot+ PCs through the Windows Insider Program, but it offers a glimpse of the future: smarter, faster, more intuitive Windows experiences.

For businesses, this means less interruption, smoother workflows, and a more confident team.

If you’re thinking about upgrading to Copilot+ PCs or want guidance on the right devices for your team, we're here to help. Get in touch today >
